Print item of the month – April

Our Print Item of the Month for April goes to our friends at Denplan (part of Simplyhealth) for their most recent fee rate mailing to their database of roughly 900,000 patients. The reason we have chosen Denplan for April’s PITM is because of their fantastic use of personalisation throughout the pack. This is our fifth year working with Denplan on various campaigns including their fee rate mailings to patients, dentist mailings, email campaigns and various marketing mailings. After overcoming the barriers and uncertainty due to Covid, Denplan remained loyal to communicating with their customers through the trusted channel of mail.

For Denplan’s main mailing to their database of patients, they have to communicate that person’s fees for the coming year and whether or not they will have to incur any changes. This means that every single booklet that goes out to Denplan’s patients is completely bespoke and specific to that one person. This means every customer receives a different combination of versions for each page and different personalised content on those pages. They also receive a personalised message from their dentist on the third page of the booklet which helps drive loyalty.

Working alongside their creative team and brand guidelines our creative team design their assets taking into account the multiple designs and requirements for the printed and email versions. As seen below, the design is fresh, simple and in line with their brand image. It’s always exciting coming up with new concepts, formats and imagery for the upcoming campaigns whilst keeping the purpose of the mailing at the forefront of planning.

The mailing is strategically deployed to land in letterboxes at managed times in order to support the customer experience centre and ensure any enquiries that come back to Denplan are manged within efficient timescales. It is an honour to be part of this unique project and to witness the success of Denplan’s interactive booklet campaign.

With 2020/21 fee rate mailings done and dusted we are very much looking forward to planning and brainstorming for their 2022 fee rate mailing!
